Therefore, we need to stand in the gap for any child that is sick so that arrow of sickness can go back to the sender. It can be a wicked arrow from the evil ones. God is a healer, there are no sicknesses or diseases He cannot heal.Īs discussed above that children can be infected through bacteria and can be hereditary, we cannot neglect the fact that some sicknesses and diseases can be spiritual. In all, prayers are needed for any child that is sick no matter what the cause may be, God can heal all manner of sicknesses if only we can pray. Some happen because of infections or bacteria, because children play a lot and touch anything that may cause infections in their bodies, such as coughs, cholera, typhoid, or any other defects. Sickness is of the devil, though some illnesses occur because of bacteria or infections, nevertheless, the devil is still the one behind every form of sicknesses. We also read in our anchor scripture in Mark 5:34 of how Jesus healed those that are sick. The scripture tells us how Jesus so loved the little ones, and he rebuked the elders who stopped the kids from coming to Him, Jesus cannot love the children and watch them fall sick. When a child is sick, the peace of the parent is withdrawn, there is fear and anxiety in the family because no parent ever prays to bury their children. Sickness is never the plan of God for any of His children, little children are not exempted.
